In this digital age, you would think publishers would be printing less and less cookbooks. In fact, this year’s crop of cookbooks is as strong as any year I’ve seen since I became the cookbook buyer in 2000. I find that amazing, considering the growing strength of the Kindle and the Nook, cookbook apps, online recipe sites, and such. But the cookbook, as a publishing category, is as strong as ever, due in part to the Food Network and the Cooking Channel. [Read more…]
